Terms of Use

The rules for using Pocket MBA and its Premium subscription.

Agreement

Pocket MBA is made by Alexis Lentati ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which these terms complete. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Pocket MBA is

Pocket MBA teaches business through lessons, quizzes, open questions and business cases. It is educational content, not professional advice: nothing in the app is financial, investment, legal, tax or career advice for your own situation. Business cases describe real or realistic companies to illustrate ideas; they may simplify events and are not a statement of fact about any company today.

Free and Premium

Part of Pocket MBA is free. Premium, an auto-renewable subscription, unlocks every section, every case and unlimited practice. What each plan includes and its price are shown in the app before you buy.

Subscriptions

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • If an offer includes a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged.
  • If an offer gives a lower price for the first period, the subscription then renews at the regular price shown before you buy, unless you cancel.
  • Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms. To ask for a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • If you reinstall the app or change iPhone, use "Restore purchases" in Settings to get Premium back.

Your progress

Your progress is stored on your device and isn't backed up by us. Deleting the app or resetting your progress erases it, and we can't recover it.

Using the app fairly

Pocket MBA is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute its content, extract its source code or data, or try to get around the subscription. The app, its lessons, cases, questions, illustrations and trademarks belong to Alexis Lentati.

Third-party services

The app relies on services from Apple, RevenueCat and PostHog (and Superwall in versions 1.x), described in our Privacy Policy. Some features need an internet connection, and your mobile operator's charges for data may apply.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Pocket MBA, so its content and features may change. We may update these terms; the new version will be posted on this page with its effective date, and continuing to use the app means you accept it. We may stop offering the app; if we do, we'll handle active subscriptions as the App Store's rules require.

Liability

We work hard to keep the content accurate, but Pocket MBA is provided "as is", without guarantees that it is error-free or suited to a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on the app's content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
